Grace C. Visconti is a visual artist (Graphic Designer and Photographer), as well as a Writer, Blogger and Editor. Additionally, she is a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner and assisted in the process of getting Shiatsu regulated as a professional healing art form in Toronto, ON with her sensei Kensen Saito of the Shiatsu Academy of Tokyo. She did this by using graphic design and writing to educate the public and government officials about the benefits of Shiatsu Therapy.
Though her primary professions are very different disciplines, there is a common stream that flows through all of them: energy in its various forms of expression. She shares the philosophy that creativity, the intellectual process, as well as our personal and collective ability to heal, have infinite possibilities when we allow ourselves to think imaginatively and divergently.
Ms. Visconti’s company Eagleheart Dynamic (https://eagleheartdynamic.com) was formed in Toronto, ON (1990) and carried over into Calgary, AB (2000) where primarily graphic design, writing, and editing were utilized in a freelance capacity and are currently offered in 2016.
Sample selections of blog posts, articles, and interviews from other websites can be downloaded here. The decision was made to start this blog to illustrate Ms. Visconti’s passion and utmost respect for the written word as she explores the lives of people, concepts, creativity, the entrepreneurial spirit, stories, and the places she visits. This blog will reflect the wise words of a favorite poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Life is a journey, not a destination.”
